ASELSAN Demonstrates GOKALP Counter-UAV System

Turkish defence company ASELSAN has demonstrated its GOKALP Counter-UAV System at its Ogulbey Technology Base. The vehicle-integrated, mobile system combines AURA radar, electro-optical sensors and DRONEDEF command-and-control software to detect and engage hostile drones. During the demonstration, AURA detected a target drone and transmitted real-time data to the GOKALP E1 interceptor. The interceptor then destroyed the target mid-air using a direct hit-to-kill method. ASELSAN describes GOKALP as a cost-effective, fully mobile counter-UAV shield, highlighting the integrated performance of its components and its interception effectiveness under field conditions.
