Cilas, an MBDA-owned laser specialist, showcased its HELMA-P directed-energy weapon mounted on an ARX Robotics Hector UGV. Designed to counter micro and mini drones, the 2 kW laser can also neutralize ground threats and IEDs at ranges up to 1,000 meters. The system can be deployed on vehicles, ships, buildings, and unmanned platforms, offering a flexible hard-kill option for integrated air defense and counter-UAS operations.
