EOS Signs £370M Contract for Nationwide Counter-Drone Defence

Electro Optic Systems (EOS) has signed a £370 million (approximately A$700 million) contract with an unnamed Gulf Cooperation Council member state to deploy a nationwide Counter-UAS defence system. The contract, described by EOS as its largest ever, centres on the NiDAR AI-enabled command-and-control (C2) platform, acquired through its MARSS acquisition. The integrated system will combine third-party radar, electro-optical and sonar sensors with hard-kill interceptors and soft-kill jammers.
