CounterUASWorld Summary
ParaZero Technologies and ThirdEye Systems have unveiled an integrated Counter-UAS architecture for armored vehicles that combines drone detection and physical interception capabilities. The solution pairs ThirdEye’s newly introduced Iron Web detection layer with ParaZero’s DefendAir net-based interceptor system. Iron Web is designed to provide armored combat vehicles with a dedicated drone-detection perimeter, complementing ThirdEye’s Argus Shield platform. Once a drone is detected and classified using electro-optical sensors and AI-driven analytics, DefendAir is intended to serve as the final protection layer, launching a non-explosive net to physically stop the threat before it reaches the vehicle. The system concept is also intended for critical infrastructure and other sensitive sites. The announcement follows a September 2026 memorandum of understanding between the two companies to explore the development and commercialization of a 360-degree detect-to-defeat C-UAS solution.
