Description
Retinar FAR-AD Drone Detection Radar, developed by Meteksan Defence, is a radar system to enable security against mini/micro unmanned aerial vehicles. Retinar FAR-AD can automatically scan large areas and low altitude air space as the primary sensor of the security forces against drones. Retinar FAR-AD provides effective protection against low altitude drones, with it is 40-degree elevation angle. The targets followed by Retinar FAR-AD user interface software provide the location, distance, speed, and direction information to the operator. Target Analysis Mode, enables the classification of targets. Retinar FAR-AD Drone Detection Radar operates on Ku band frequency with low RF output. It has an advanced technology solid-state radio frequency design and digital radar architecture and incorporates special algorithms and waveforms for Low-Slow-Small (LSS) target detection and can detect, track, and classify moving objects. Micro-Doppler signature analysis capability is used for target identification which provides crucial information during low visible weather conditions such as foggy environment.
